Samantha’s first sat on a horse at five years old, and these days she’s just as comfortable training horses and getting her boots dirty as she is sitting down to write. Her Thoroughbred, Buckshot, holds an especially big place in her heart, and the western way of life isn’t just something she enjoys. It’s part of who she is. She’s strong-willed, independent, outspoken, stubborn as all get-out, and never has been one to back down from a challenge. Tell Samantha something can’t be done, and chances are you’ve just given her another reason to do it.Life hasn’t always handed her the easy road, but Samantha learned a long time ago how to dust herself off, straighten her boots, and keep on going.
